Tenderfoot TV

Tenderfoot TV is a podcast production company founded by Atlanta director and independent filmmaker, Payne Lindsey, and music industry veteran, Donald Albright. They produce true crime and journalistic podcasts. Popular titles include To Live and Die in LA, Up and Vanished, Culpable, and Radio Rental.

I connected with Payne and Donald in 2018 after I had created illustrated portraits of them as a personal project called podcast portraits. They asked if I would create illustrations for the Tenderfoot TV website and additional portraits of their staff.

I continue to support Tenderfoot TV with illustrations, and I’m grateful for their partnership. Here are the illustrations I’ve produced for Tenderfoot TV:

Website Graphics

Tenderfoot TV is located in Atlanta, Georgia. I drew some scenes of the town and their studio for graphic headers on the website. Check it out here

Staff Portraits

Each staff member and podcast host has an illustrated portrait on the Tenderfoot TV website. There are over 20 team members. These are a few from the group.

Animated Logos

In creating illustrated graphics for the Tenderfoot TV website, I came up with some fun variations of their established logo. Something engaging for a website footer, and one for the holidays.

Illustrated Podcast Covers

The website graphics all consist of the sketchy illustrated style I developed. I create rough illustrated versions of TFTV’s podcast covers so the graphics on the website are consistent. These are quick, loose drawings that I really enjoy making. See all of Tenderfoot TV’s poscasts here

Culpable Podcast

It’s truly an honor to have a podcast cover that I illustrated. Tenderfoot TV asked for me to create cover illustration and episode artwork for the true crime podcast series Culpable, hosted by Dennis Cooper. Season 1 covers the case of Christian Andracchio who was found dead in the upstairs bathroom of his apartment from a single gunshot wound to the head. The podcast is a compelling story about Christian’s suspicious death, the questions surrounding it, and a greiving family’s ongoing fight for justice.

The podcast is now developing its third season. Below is the artwork and concept development sketches I created for season 1.
