If you haven’t gathered, I love to food and cooking. Matty Matheson has been a big influence on my attitude and sensibilities around food and cooking. When I started following him on youtube, I knew I had to draw a portrait of him.

His energy on his cooking show is energetic and a bit chaotic at times. He’s preparing food, explaining the process of the recipe, and yelling at his producers in sing-song yelling. In this self-initiated piece, I wanted to capture all of that in one image.
