VOX Media approached me to help out with an advertisement for California Avocados featured on Eater.com. The idea was to promote the versatility of California Avocados with a series of recipes and a show-stopping hero illustration.

Each illustration has a different personality portrayed through color and tone, but the energy and visual detail remain consistent throughout the series. This was a joy to create and is still one of my favorite projects.
